Retül Fit is more than just a bike fit. It's a way to learn more about your body, the cause of your aches and pains, and how a good fit can help you achieve your cycling goals.
Tailored to your body.
Using 3D motion capture technology, the Retül system precisely measures every degree of movement and millimeter of distance, providing you and the fitter with data to support the choices made during the adjustment of your bike equipment and personal riding experience.
Step 1
We start with a pre-fit, a physical assessment. The fitter takes into account your body's limitations, any previous injuries, aches, and other discomforts. Additionally, you'll be asked about your goals and ambitions on the bike.
Step 2
From there, the fitter will have you get on the Retül bike and then apply LED markers to 8 anatomical points on your body, which are tracked by the Retül Vantage Motion Capture system. This system is used to collect real-time, three-dimensional data from every pedal stroke, creating a dynamic measurement.
Step 3
The real-time dynamic data is bundled in the Retül Bike Fit software, allowing the fitter to look at the numbers, which show degrees of movement not visible to the naked eye, and make adjustments to your bike based on the Fit data, pre-fit physical findings, and your goals on the bike. This can also include equipment changes such as shoes, footbeds, saddle, handlebars, etc.
Step 4
After you and your fitter have chosen your final bike position, the fitter will create a digital map of this final bike setup using the Retül Zin tool. The bike data and Zin tool measurements are generated in a complete report that you can consult at any time after your bike fitting appointment.
