Cannondale Trigger Frameset

The 2018 Cannondale Trigger Frameset represented a complete overhaul of their all-mountain platform, focusing on versatility and aggressive trail performance. The heart of this frameset is its advanced frame which, depending on the version (Framekit), used a BallisTec Carbon front triangle and a SmartForm C1 Alloy or Carbon swingarm. This resulted in a light yet very stiff base that could handle the most demanding trails. The geometry was modernized with a slacker head tube angle (66°) and shorter chainstays (420mm) thanks to the Ai (Asymmetric Integration) Offset Drivetrain for an agile and stable riding experience.

The frameset is designed with durability and ease of maintenance in mind. It uses Cannondale's LOCKR thru-axle pivot system that securely connects the swingarm to the main frame, ensuring torsional stiffness and eliminating play without specialized tools. Internal cable routing through the BallisTec Carbon front triangle provides a clean look and cable protection.
