In 2019, the Áspero took the gravel world by storm, ushering in a 'new era of speed in gravel'. Fun, but also lightning-fast. The new Áspero stays true to its original concept, but with some improvements: a threaded BB shell, cleaner cable routing, and a UDH-compatible derailleur hanger for those who want to use SRAM's Transmission drivetrains. And of course, it's more aerodynamic. In the case of the Áspero, aerodynamic performance is less about pure speed due to less air resistance, and more about energy saving. After a tough day riding into a headwind, the three watts you save compared to the previous Áspero can amount to one less energy gel for your stomach to digest – WELL WORTH IT.
