In 2019, the Áspero took the gravel world by storm, ushering in a 'new era of speed in gravel'. Enjoyable, but also incredibly fast.

The new Áspero remains true to its original concept, but with some improvements: a threaded BB shell, neater cable routing, and a UDH-compatible derailleur hanger for those who want to use SRAM's Transmission drivetrains. And it is, of course, more aerodynamic. In the case of Áspero, aerodynamic performance is less about pure speed due to reduced drag, and more about energy saving.

After a tough day riding into a headwind, the three watts you save compared to the previous Áspero can amount to one less energy gel for your stomach to digest.
