The Shimano BB-MT800 Press-Fit bottom bracket offers the perfect balance between durability and weight saving for enthusiastic mountain bikers. As part of the renowned XT M8000 series, this bottom bracket has been specifically developed to maximize the performance of Hollowtech II cranksets. Thanks to its advanced sealing technology, dirt and moisture are effectively kept out, significantly extending the lifespan of the bearings, even in the muddiest trail conditions.
The bearings are smaller than their predecessors, which not only results in lower weight but also reduced rotational resistance. This leads to a smoother pedaling motion and more direct power transfer when climbing or accelerating. The Press-Fit system ensures a sturdy and creak-free installation in frames with a 41 mm diameter, provided it is installed correctly with the right tools.
By choosing the BB-MT800, you are investing in the reliability that characterizes Shimano XT. It is the ideal upgrade or replacement for riders looking for a low-maintenance solution that can withstand the heavy demands of off-road riding. The high-quality finish and precise tolerances guarantee that your drivetrain will continue to function optimally in all weather conditions.
