For the new Caledonia-5, we focused on improvements that are meaningful to the people who push the bike to its limits. The biggest change you'll notice is the addition of in-frame storage, first seen in the P-Series. This isn't meant to carry a burrito, but just a small multi-tool, an inner tube, and a CO2 cartridge. Next, we turned our attention to comfort: the seatstays have been lowered, just like on the Aspero, making the rear triangle sharper and more vertically compliant. At the same time, the down tube is slightly stiffer to maintain the professional responsiveness the Caledonia is known for. You can still fit wide tires (36mm), and every bike comes with fender mounts.
