The DT Swiss XM 1700 Spline is the undisputed benchmark for aluminum all-mountain wheels, thanks to its high-quality, welded rim joint. This construction is significantly stronger and lighter than common pinned alternatives, which is essential on rough trails. With an internal width of 30 mm, the rim provides perfect support for modern tires, allowing you to ride at low pressure for maximum grip. The tubeless-ready setup completes this wheel for any technical challenge.
The beating heart is the legendary DT Swiss 350 hub, equipped with the proven Ratchet System 36 SL. This freehub system ensures lightning-fast engagement and direct power transfer with every pedal stroke due to simultaneous interlocking. The hub is designed for easy, tool-free maintenance and is connected to the rim via strong DT Competition straightpull spokes for a stiff and responsive unit.
Each XM 1700 wheel is hand-laced for maximum precision and durability. With an ASTM class 4 certification, the wheel is robust enough for heavy enduro use, yet remains nimble enough for long climbs in the Alps. This is the ideal choice for riders who prioritize reliability above all else and are looking for equipment that will perform season after season.
