Continental Grand Prix 5000 TT TR

The Continental Grand Prix 5000 TT TR is an advanced outer tire, specifically designed for the demanding world of time trials and triathlons. This 28-inch racing tire in a classic black finish is optimized for maximum speed and efficiency, with every detail tuned for competitive performance. As a Tubeless Ready (TR) tire, it offers the modern athlete the benefits of lower rolling resistance and improved puncture protection.

For unparalleled performance, the Grand Prix 5000 TT TR utilizes Continental's proven BlackChili Compound, resulting in a superior balance between grip and minimal rolling resistance, essential for high speeds. The integrated Vectran Breaker technology provides reliable puncture resistance without adding significant weight, which is crucial during races where every second counts. The Lazer Grip structure on the tire's shoulders ensures extra confidence in corners.

The TT designation emphasizes the focus on time trial optimization, with a construction aimed at minimizing air resistance and weight for an aerodynamic advantage. The Tubeless Ready design allows for riding with lower tire pressure, which improves comfort and grip, while the addition of sealant offers protection against small perforations. This outer tire is the ideal choice for athletes seeking uncompromising speed and reliability in their race equipment.
