Cervélo R5 Force AXS 2025

The R5 has one goal: to reach the top as quickly as possible. And even though eternal glory and countless fans await at the top, it’s usually not the only climb of the day. While most races aren’t won on the descent, they can certainly be lost there. A climbing bike that can’t handle a hairpin turn feels like a decaf coffee.

The new R5 frame is 130 grams lighter than the previous model – a 16% weight reduction on an already light frame. And although aerodynamics didn’t play as big a role in its development as with the S5 or P5, air resistance was still reduced by 25 grams thanks to internal cable routing.

The R5 is stiff, but not too stiff – the Swiss Army knife of climbing bikes, if you will. A perfect balance, stability, and power transfer that feels just right, keeping you fresh and ready to conquer the road.
