The R5 is legendary. From the groundbreaking R5CA to victories on Mont Ventoux, the R5 has been part of Cervélo's history for more than two decades. This all-new R5 is an exceptionally lightweight race bike (5.97 kg in RED and Dura-Ace versions) while being stiff enough for top performance in professional cycling.

Developing a bicycle that is both light and stiff enough to accelerate quickly and transfer power efficiently is a significant technical challenge. The R5 excels on long mountain stages, steep climbs, and challenging descents, offering confidence and predictability on every ride. Although the UCI mandates a minimum weight of 6.8 kg, riders seeking a high-performance bike benefit from one of the lightest road bikes on the market.
