The S5 is a benchmark for speed and aerodynamic efficiency across the sport—with the race results to prove it. From Wout van Aert winning the Green Jersey by the largest margin in modern history, to Simon Yates riding himself into the maglia rosa, the S5’s iconic V-Stem and bayonet fork have been a fixture at the front of the professional peloton. The new S5 builds on that legacy of speed by becoming even faster.

The new bike is over 6 watts faster than its predecessor, 124 grams lighter, and features the ride quality, balance, and stability that riders everywhere have come to love. The biggest changes are at the front of the bike, which is where the bulk of the aerodynamic performance comes from. The fork legs and head tube have been deepened considerably, and the all-new, one-piece bar and stem builds on the original V-stem concept—and gets even faster.

Cervélo and Reserve partnered to co-develop new Reserve 57|64 Turbulent Aero wheels, specifically for use in the S5 frame, to complete the aerodynamic system.
