Shimano Di2 E-Tube electric wires are suitable for a wide range of Di2 groups, including Dura-Ace 9070 / R9150 / R9170, Ultegra 6770 / 6870 / 8050 / 8070, and XTR M9070 and XT M8050. These high-quality cables ensure reliable electronic connections between shifters, junctions, derailleurs, and the battery, ensuring your Di2 shifting system functions optimally.

For a standard Di2 system installation, usually six cables are used: two 350mm cables from the shifter to the handlebar junction, one 1200mm cable from the handlebar junction to the bottom bracket junction, one 600mm cable to the battery, one 350mm cable to the front derailleur, and one 600mm cable to the rear derailleur. The EW-90-A (3-port) junction is used under the handlebars and the SM-JC41 at the bottom bracket for a clear and efficient wiring setup.

If you want extra functionality, such as climbing shifters, the 5-port EW-90-B junction is needed under the handlebars. Sprint shifters are connected directly to the shifter without an additional junction.
