The Shimano GRX RD-RX827 is a revolutionary step for gravel bikers as the brand's first fully wireless rear derailleur. The absence of cables means you enjoy a clean cockpit and easy installation. The necessary battery is safely concealed within the housing, protected from mud and stone chips. With this component, you can effortlessly transform your 2x12 groupset into a modern 1x12 drivetrain.
Robustness is guaranteed thanks to its special impact-deflecting shape and smart auto-recovery function. In the event of a fall or hard impact, the derailleur moves to prevent damage, after which it automatically returns to the correct position. This allows you to immediately continue your ride undisturbed, without having to stop for a roadside repair.
To ensure reliability in rough terrain, the derailleur pulleys are fully covered. This prevents twigs or dirt from blocking the drivetrain. This long cage derailleur is specifically developed for use with 10-51 cassettes, ensuring you always have the right gear for the steepest climbs.
