The Shimano SM-RT70 brake rotors offer reliable and powerful braking performance for avid mountain bikers and touring cyclists. Thanks to the innovative Ice-Technologies construction, heat development during long descents is effectively managed. The rotor is built with a three-layer sandwich structure of stainless steel + aluminum + stainless steel, resulting in a significant reduction of the surface temperature and consistent braking power without 'fading'.
The design specifically focuses on durability and ease of use in various conditions. Shimano's Centerlock mounting system ensures quick and easy installation on the hub, while the sturdy lock ring keeps the rotor securely in place. This technology guarantees a high degree of rigidity and precision, which is essential for direct and controlled braking behavior on challenging trails.
Due to the open structure of the rotor, mud and dirt are efficiently discharged, optimizing the performance of the entire braking system. This rotor strikes the perfect balance between weight and rigidity, making it extremely suitable for the SLX groupset and other Shimano braking systems. Whether you're riding technical trails or covering long distances, you can count on this brake rotor in all weather conditions.
