It’s an entirely new derailleur that’s been purpose built and optimized to be motor-driven instead of cable-actuated. AXS powered components enable customization and scalability to an individual rider’s liking via the AXS app. It features a shorter cage for 10mm more ground clearance, with more chain wrap on the cassette to sit slightly further forward and further inboard from the mechanical Eagle. The Eagle AXS derailleur is smart enough to protect itself thanks to its incredibly resilient Overload Clutch. In the event of an impact, the motor gearbox disengages, allowing the derailleur to move out of the way, and instantly returns to its position for a seamless experience for the rider. The system is tested to the IP69K standard for water and dust proofing for creek crossings, mud-splattering, and the subsequent high-pressure wash-up after the ride.

Excluding battery and battery protection cover!

  • Once again a good experience. Ordered a Sram Code RS brake set. Delivered quickly, unfortunately the handlebar clamps were forgotten but delivered without issues afterwards. Also the MMX.
