Do you have a question about this product?
The Santa Cruz Tallboy 5 C GX AXS is for riders who want speed and control without sacrificing fun. With 120mm VPP rear suspension and a 130mm RockShox Pike Select+ fork, this bike feels nimble on climbs and direct during acceleration. At the same time, it remains surprisingly capable on technical descents and rough singletracks. The Tallboy proves that short travel does not equate to limited possibilities.
The carbon C frame is designed to last. Santa Cruz does not build for "as light as possible," but for structural durability. In combination with the Fox Float Performance Elite DPS shock and RaceFace ARC Offset wheels, you get a setup that remains reliable even after intensive use. The geometry is modern and balanced: stable at speed, but sharp enough to playfully change lines.
This Tallboy with SRAM GX Eagle AXS shifting offers cable-free shifting precision and gives the bike the feel of one solid unit. The Maxxis tires provide grip and speed, while the RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper offers flexibility on descents. This is a bike for riders who tackle many different trails and don't want to compromise: fast uphill, fun downhill, and always in control.
